Ontario Grand River Chapter

The purpose of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) is to:

foster, promote, and improve the versatile hunting dog breeds in North America;
to conserve game by using well trained reliable hunting dogs before and after the shot; and
to aid in the prevention of cruelty to animals by discouraging non selective and uncontrolled breeding, which produces unwanted and uncared for dogs.

Ontario Grand River (OGR) is a sanctioned, non-profit chapter serving Southwestern Ontario;
from Lake Huron to Lake Ontario, from Georgian Bay to Lake Erie.

OGR NAVHDA Members' Insurance Coverage

Each member is insured up to $5,000,000.00 of liability insurance issued by Canada’s National Firearms Association for the following activities:

Legal hunting activities
Legal shooting activities
Legal fishing activities
Legal bowhunting activities
Legal archery activities

Coverage applies to the above activities, anywhere in the world.

There is a $1,000.00 deductible involving bodily injury, property damage and legal expenses. All Officers and Directors of the Chapter have $5,000,000.00 liability with $1000.00 deductible.
